It is 2408 CE, and Jusaw has grown unrecognizable since the first colonists landed in 2258. Humanity's roots now run deep, and there is everywhere human development in sight - from the oil rigs of Cartari to the minefields of North Golo to the high-rise islands of the Xia Archipelego, nowhere is untouched.

As overpopulation ravaged the Earth, humanity saught a new frontier. That frontier was found on the green land and in the blue ocean of Jusaw, a surprisingly Earth-like planet in a surprisingly Earth-like solar system. Long-distance inhabited space travel - as would be required - had never been tried before, though, and the first few sets of colonists sent went missing-presumed-dead. That first-rate space agencies and organizations had to redevelop that facilities for long-distance space travel gave those behind them the chance to catch up, and so Jusaw experienced colonization by multiple organizations, all at around the same time.
